Spring Poem

This project was intended for first grade.

When I did this project with my students I used a Google Form with embedded word banks and videos for read-aloud support to make the project something students could do in one sitting independently. I then used Autocrat to merge their responses into finished projects.

To use this project without a Google Form, I’d recommend completing a rough draft first. A link to a rough draft template is below. Prior to students completing the rough draft, you may want to brainstorm words they may want to use on the board. This helps with idea generation and with spelling.
